About the Center
Part of the Families First DC initiative
Child and Family Services Agency’s (CFSA) Family Success Centers are part of Families First DC, the District’s vision for family-strengthening. The Carver/Langston Family Success Center opened its doors to residents and families of Carver/Langston (Ward 5), Kingman Park (Ward 7), and surrounding communities — one of eleven Families First DC Success Center locations.
We believe families and residents are the building blocks of a stable community. By offering services that empower families, mitigate the risk of child abuse and neglect, and improve neighborhood safety, our centers provide linkage to community resources, workforce development cohorts, on-site services, and community engagement activities.
