E/BFSC regularly assesses the needs of our developing staff, Board and partner agencies and provides opportunities for skill development. These efforts enhance and expand the capacity of the Collaborative’s board, members, staff and partner organizations to better identify and support the needs of children families and communities. Through various activities, the Collaborative promotes skills development and access to technical assistance for the partnership network, small neighborhood based organizations and the community at large. Some examples of this program include:  Training and development opportunities for staff, residents and partner agencies; recruitment of new collaborative partners; Agency capacity building through proposal writing assistance, informational seminars, or fiscal agent partnership; Family Development Credentialing for staff and partners.
