After advocating for nearly twelve years to transform the way communities and systems address the issues confronting children and their families, we are seeing evidence of change in the development of the Partnership for Community Based Services. This includes the integration of CFSA’s In-Home units with the Collaborative staff. Through a team approach, case management services are provided to families who have a substantiated report of child maltreatment and are actively involved with the child welfare system. Collaborative and child welfare staff has a shared responsibility in providing services to improve safety and support children remaining within their homes.
